Bird taxidermy is one of the more demanding disciplines within taxidermy.
Working with feathers, delicate skin, and fine details of the head requires precision, experience, patience, and a solid understanding of anatomy. Every imperfection is visible, and mistakes are not tolerated.
That is why only a few studios in the Czech Republic still focus on bird taxidermy today. It is time-consuming and often less economically attractive compared to large game.
We continue to do it, thanks to our dedicated team.
We have experience with small game birds, waterfowl, as well as larger species such as ostrich. We prepare both classic mounts and more complex compositions, where we create custom poses, capture birds in motion, or adapt the mount to the specific space where it will be displayed.
It is not an easy craft. But that is exactly why we enjoy it.
